In my paintings you will often see what fascinates me most: the female body, the glow of human skin, playful cartoon characters, and their colorful little faces. Women are often sexualized and objectified by men and by many other women influenced by them, and in many places women are not regarded as separate, autonomous individuals. There they become like cartoon characters, just animation without rights, without a soul, and without the possibility of drawing themselves in different circumstances. Yet women remain the most powerful.
