Daiva Žemaitienė

I live and create in Šiauliai, Lithuania, where my journey in art began at an early age. From childhood I demonstrated a natural talent for drawing, which steadily grew into a true passion. In 2008, I graduated from Šiauliai Art School, and in 2016 I earned a designer’s diploma from the Faculty of Arts at Šiauliai University. For the past seven years, I have dedicated myself to portrait drawing. Recently, however I have felt an inner call to express myself more freely and deeply through my work. This has drawn me to the intricate art of portraiture, where I specialize in the dry brush technique and graphite pencil drawings. Through each artwork, I seek not only to capture likeness, but also to evoke emotional and reveal the essence of my subjects, inviting viewers to connect with the soul behind the image
