Algirdas Zibalis
Born on April 3, 1960 in Šiauliai. In 1975, he graduated from Šiauliai Children’s Art School. In 1984, he graduated from the Faculty of Art of Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute.
Since 1988, he has been participating in exhibitions with watercolor works. The first author’s exhibition was in 1990 at the Šiauliai Palace of Culture. In 2011, he was granted the status of an artist.
He has organized author’s exhibitions in various cities of Lithuania, participates in various art events and group exhibitions of artists in Lithuania and abroad. Participant of watercolor exhibitions Fabriano, Italy 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020. Participant of international exhibitions-competitions Galeria “Esde”, Sardinia, Italy 2016-2017, participant of the 1st International Watercolor Exhibition and Festival IWS in Helsinki (Finland). Participant of international watercolor exhibitions Abu Rawash in Egypt 2018, Bangladesh 2020. Participant of Pyrenees watercolor competitions and exhibitions in France 2021, 2023 (diploma for high mastery), 2025. Participant of watercolor biennial Baltic Bridges. Baltic Brigdes. 2022. Experiences. Participant of other watercolor art projects. The work “Old Village” is in the Šiauliai “Aušros” Museum.
Member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union.
