About the Artist

Birutė Česnauskienė is a Lithuanian artist, painter, graphic artist, whose creative work is deeply inspired by nature, emotion, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. A wife and mother of two sons, she combines artistic sensitivity with warmth, human connection, and years of creative and educational experience. Alongside her artistic practice, she is also an art and technology teacher-methodologist, seminar lecturer, and creative workshop educator.

Born in 1972 in Šiauliai, Lithuania, she graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute (later Šiauliai University), earning qualifications in drawing and humanities (Art History). In 2008, she was awarded the qualification category of art and technology teacher-methodologist. She has been teaching since 1995 and, since 2020, has worked at the Kretinga Art School.

Since 2006, the artist has actively participated in exhibitions, plein-air events, educational projects, and creative workshops throughout the Klaipėda region. Her solo exhibitions include The Mystery of Discovery (2017), Blooming (2022), Inside the Blooming Trees You Hear Your Heart (2023), Bread (2023), and the Wave Crashing series (2024).

The artist lives and creates in the Klaipėda region, where nature becomes the heartbeat of her work. Through luminous colors, subtle light, and expressive compositions, she invites viewers into a journey of discovery, inner calm, and deeper awareness of the surrounding world. Her paintings explore themes of memory, spirituality, human connection, and the fragile beauty of everyday life, balancing vivid energy with quiet, meditative harmony.
